16. My Natianal Flag
Three things are very important in the life of a nation. Notional festivals, National flag occupies the most im-portant. A flag is a piece of cloth cut into three different shapes and designs. So is the national flag of India It has three colours saffron, white and green. Soffron stands for sacrifice, white for peace and green for prosperity. It shows Ashok chakra in the centre. Our flag was associated with the Freedom movement of India. It was first adopted by Indian national congress in 1931 as a symbol of India's freedom. It has spinning wheel in the centre which was replaced by Ashokchakraafter independence. National flag is unfurled an national festivals.
