         Sant Gadage baba

Davidas (Debuji) Zhingraji Janorkar is the original name of sant gadage baba. He born on 23 February 1876 in Shedgaon village in Anjangaon Surji Taluka in Amravati District of Maharashtra and died on 20 December 1956 on the banks of river Pedhi near Valgaon Amaravati District. he traveled from one place to another wearing his food pan upturned on his head and carrying his trademark broom. When he entered a vil lage, he would instantly start cleaning the gutters and roads of the village. He also told the citizens of the village that their congratulations would have to wait until his work was done, villagers gave him money, debuji use that for progress of physical as well as thinking of society. From this money Gadge Baba built educational institutions, dharmasalas, hospitals and animal shelters. He conducted his discourses in the form of "Kirtans" in which he would emphasize values like ser vice to humanity and compassion and he educate people against blind faiths and rituals. 

           Annabhau Sathe

 Annabhau Sathe (Tukaram Sathe ) born on 1Auguest 1920 in the village of Wategaon near Sangli, of Maharashtra State and he died on 18 July 1969. Despite of lack of formal education, He wrote in Marathi 35 novels There are 15 collections of Sathe's short stories. To generate social awareness, he organized stage performances of powade and tamasha, Sathe was an important mobilizer in the Sanyukta Maharashtra movement. He wrote directly from his experiences in life, and his novels celebrate the fighting spirit in their characters who work against all odds in life.

Our people speak different language and wear different kinds of dresses. They have different customes to follow. Our land too does not show uniformity. There are high mountains and fertile plains. The ganga and the yamuna the brahamputra etc. are the great rivers of India. British ruled over us. But we become free country on 15 th August 1947. The Taj of agra, the Red fort of Dilhi and temples of the south are the great monuments of country. ●We are now busy building a new India through five year plans. We are a democratic country.                   14. MY CITY 

I live in Nashik. It is divided in two parts - Old Nashik and Nashik. It is called as the grape city. It is situated on bank of the Godavari. People belonging to all states of India live here. The Central Jail, the security press and Police. Training Collage are in Nashik Kala Ram Mandir, Pandav Lene are famous spots in Nashik It is a religious place famous for Kumbha Mela. Nashik is the centre of education. It has Medical and Engineering colleges too. It has two Universities. There is a Railway station for It is very big industrial centre of Maharastra. Nashik Many gaint factories are there in Nashik Nashik has become overcrowded and polluted now.Nashik is also known as rose city.

             13. THE FARMER 

: The farmer lives in a village. He lives a very simple and hard life. The farmer gets up early in the morning. He goes to his field to work. He ploughs his field. He sows seeds. He reaps the crops in winter. He works hard from moming till evening. His wife brings him his midday meals. She helps him in his work. The farmer sends his children to school and look after his childrens education. He is poor, but he is very honesst. We get food because of his work. He is very useful to us.
